Our Parish
Our Parish
Our school plays a very active part in the parish of St Mary’s and St Thomas More. We celebrate mass in church most weeks during the academic year, which is also attended by parents and parishioners.
We share family mass celebrations each month and sacramental preparation masses with our sister parish of Our Lady of Lourdes in Hednesford.
We share masses together as local schools, such as the Good Shepherd Mass with Father Hudson’s Caritas in September each year and a Y6 Leavers Mass in July.
Our parish priest, Father Peter Weatherby, is welcomed regularly into school and is integral to the Catholic Life of our school.
Many staff, governors and children attend mass at weekends and some children also altar serve.
