Maths
Mathematics is an important discipline that helps us to understand the world. We want all children at St. Mary’s to enjoy their learning and to be able to apply their knowledge both to other aspects of their learning (e.g. Science and Art) and also to their everyday lives, thereby developing important life skills. We hope to build problem-solvers of the future and build resilience in our children; essential skills they can use in all aspects of their learning.
At St. Mary’s, we believe that all children can achieve in Maths. We promote positive attitudes towards this subject and instil in children the confidence and knowledge that they are all mathematicians.
